Theresa Coleson’s extensive work background gives her the ability to offer clients a wide range of services, ranging from graphic design to digital marketing. Her passion for career and family gives her a spark for life that enables her to face any task with vibrancy, efficiency and an attention to detail that is unparalleled by her peers.
With over 10+ years in the business arena, her expertise includes Business Development & Marketing and Social Media Management. Theresa received her Bachelor’s Degree from George Mason Univeristy and went on to receive her Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing from the University of Virginia. She also received a Certificate in Google AdWords and in January 2017 completed additional coursework in InDesign. She has advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, Social Media Platforms, WordPress and Constant Contact. Additionally, she is continually growing her skills in HTML, video editing and all Adobe Suite applications.
Before joining the Mission Catnip Marketing team, Theresa worked with Democracy Federal Credit Union where she was the Business Development and Marketing Representative and later promoted to Marketing coordinator. From creating in-Branch marketing and social media to planning and executing events, assist with training and more, she interacted closely with Core groups/Seg contacts and Frontline Staff to continually grow relationships, productivity and look for opportunities to develop Democracy FCU.
Work is her passion but her motivation comes from the love she has for her family. She has an active 2 year old daughter that keeps her on her toes and brings joy to each day. She has guided her brother with special needs through adulthood to supervised independence and continues to serve as a mentor and role model as he continues on his journey. In her free time, you’ll find her doing yoga or spending time with her family outdoors. She loves parks, picnics and tending to her garden.
